2025 Spring Tour Review

By the numbers:

  • 5 days of camps/clinics (3 in Jerusalem, 2 in Beit Sahour)
  • Over 150 players/coaches served ( 60+ in Jerusalem, 90+ in Beit Sahour)
  • 28+ hours of direct interaction with the players and coaches.
  • 15+ partners/volunteers

Here’s what our coaches had to say:

Simi, Jerusalem“My heart is overflowing with love for the amazing people we met on this trip. It was such an honor to serve in these communities, getting to know the kids, coaches, hosts, staff, and people of the area—hearing their stories,   connecting with their hearts, being welcomed with open arms, and experiencing such incredible hospitality. More than anything, we were   deeply blessed by the time we spent with them, by their kindness, their joy, and the love they so freely shared. It’s a miracle how basketball brings   people from different cultures and faiths together in such a meaningful way. Thank you, Jesus, for allowing us to share our faith in You through the game of basketball. Assembling this team and how it came together is a miracle and a testimony to Your perfect timing and provision. *All glory and praise to You, Jesus! Amen! “

– Simi Friedrich | Munich, Germany

“Being a part of NRB again after all these yearswas a blessing. Our team came together in record time and our hosts thought we had worked together before. The Lord handpicked this team and used us to do what NRB does best…. display Christ using Basketball as a platform The experience we had was indescribable.”

 – Cheryl Fielitz-Sacrbrough | Talbott, Tennessee

“Right away I was struck by the hospitality and enthusiasm of the kids and   coaches there. I have never had the opportunity to work with a more joyful group of kids who were so excited about basketball. I am confident that the Lord will use our trip and the relationships we formed and helped build in   the community to further His will. “

 – J.T. Ryan | Fayetteville, Arkansas

“I was overjoyed for the opportunity to serve alongside my brothers and sisters in Christ through the game of basketball. What a blessing to watch the children’s faces as we shared our faith and basketball skills at the YMCA’s at Jerusalem and Palestine. Working with the other team of coaches was an honor of a lifetime. All glory to God!!!”

 – Jennifer King | Morristown, Tennessee

“Simply put, this team, this time, our partners and the people we interacted   with are all a result of God’s provision, grace, and love. I learned so much and gained valuable perspective as to how God uses basketball in order to   reveal His glory and purposes. I am excited to see how we can continue to grow these relationships and experience more of God’s Kingdom on Earth   with our new friends! “

 – Tim Bieri | Gresham, Oregon

Eta, Jerusalem“I was overwhelmed by the love that I experienced from the beginning…God has prepared their hearts and surely He will continue to work in them (till they will be Jesus’s followers). I also got a better understanding and urge to “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!” The unity that grew among us through the Holy Spirit was indeed noticed. Also the connections, some stories of youths that shaped my heart and made me develop new frameworks/renew my thoughts.  God was faithful and who knows where these small beginnings will be evolved as His work cannot be stopped.”

 – Eta Nagy | Budapest, Hungary

Lord willing, we are already planning to return to our new friends in order to see how God will cultivate His love in these communities through these partnerships.
