2024 Tour Review

It is with grateful and humble hearts we celebrate all that God did on the 2024 News Release Basketball tours!
So much of this summer can be beautifully mirrored by the words of the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10:

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities.
For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Through the ups and downs of every tour, we confidently report that the GOOD NEWS was shared, skills and lives were transformed, the Kingdom grew, and God’s presence, power, and peace was felt!

Below you will find a short report on each of the locations we were blessed to serve. ⬇️

We extend a huge THANK YOU for the prayers and support of so many!
This ministry is only possible because of God’s gracious gift of all of our partners. 🙌

🇿🇲Zambia🇿🇲
Team Roster🔗

“It was a life-changing two weeks in Zambia — for the kids who came to camp, for the coaches who came to the clinics, and for the 14 tour members!
35+ kids made personal decisions to follow Jesus!
Other campers, coaches and team members were challenged to take their faith deeper and make Christ more real in their lives!
We saw God open doors, make connections, and move in amazing ways!
There are so many stories to tell! I am so thankful for our new family members, and for the deeper relationships that were made between the team and our local partners!”

“The camp tour for the men’s team went well!
Both camps were great! The Gospel was preached and relationships were made.

Women’s Team Roster 🔗

“Our team was small but strong! We are so thankful for all of the partners in Germany and Sweden.
Munich (as always) was a beacon of light and a foretaste of heaven. During our ‘decision-day’ nearly 3/4 of the campers raised their hands to indicate their desire to follow Christ!
It was also great for NRB to get back to Hammarstrand, Sweden after a 5 year break. This is such a special region with some amazingly kind and genuine people. The camp was so much fun and the kids were full of joy and energy. Most of the campers were refugees from other parts of the world, and for many of them this was their first time hearing the Good News of Jesus!”

🇮🇱JERUSALEM🇮🇱

Jerusalem Roster 🔗

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing conflict in Israel, all of the flights were canceled to and from Jerusalem (Tel Aviv).

Lord willing, we hope and plan to find a new time to go serve with our new partners.

We continually receive partnership requests for camps and clinics all around the world. 🌍

Currently we are already scheduling camps for 2025 with our long-time partners, as well as having conversations with churches and organizations in Pakistan, Kenya, Philippines, Ecuador, Netherlands, France, and potentially other places.

As Jesus said in Matthew 9:37, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few…”

Please consider joining us as a participant on one of our tours (we will announce our 2025 tours soon), OR as a financial partner.
